Brown Hits Straight Against Rubinstein
Level 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Donny Rubinstein opened to 20,000 from early position before Tyler Brown shipped it for 68,000 from the cutoff. Rubinstein called to put Brown at risk.
Tyler Brown: A♦Q♠10♦6♠
Donny Rubinstein: A♥K♣5♣2♣
Rubinstein stayed ahead on the J♥5♦10♠ flop, but the K♠ turn was not what Rubinstein wanted as it gave Brown a straight.
The 9♣ river did not alter the standings as Brown took down the pot for a full double.
