Nikitin Takes a Multi-Way Pot Down
Level 6
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Action was picked up on a four-way pot of 70,000 chips beside a Q♥J♥A♠ flop. After Anatoly Nikitin in middle position and Vinny Lingham in late position checked, Adam Hendrix in cutoff fired 16,000.
Brian Breck, on the button, mucked his hand and so did Lingham. But Nikitin called to see another card.
The J♣ turn dropped and the remaining players checked leading them to the river 4♣.
Nikitin burned a time card, before putting in 30,000. Hendrix took his time to consider his options before conceding the pot and the hand to Nikitin.
