Roiter had just made a correct fold with top pair moments earlier and now found a great spot to double back to a more playable stack.

Roiter stayed ahead on the A♥K♠10♣ flop where both players paired up and picked up a straight draw. The 8♣ turn meant only a jack or ten would end Roiter's tournament run in seventh place.

The dealer burned a card and produced the brutal J♥ river to complete the board, sending Roiter to the rail as the first elimination of the day with $159,884 for his efforts.
