The action was caught on a 4♣A♠8♠3♦ turn. Lawrence Brandt checked from the big blind to David Moskowitz under the gun. Moskowitz fired a pot-sized bet of 32,000, which Brandt reluctantly called after much debate.
Brandt then quickly moved in his remaining 45,000 or so on the 2♠ river. Moskowitz mucked his hand in an instant, and the pot was shipped to Brandt before the table was broken.
Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better
At another table, big blind Philip Sternheimer pushed his last 28,000 into a pot of 47,000 on the 6♥Q♣5♣ flop.
"I really want to fold," Marco Johnson said in the big blind as he weighed his options, but he ultimately deemed the price too good and called.
Philip Sternheimer: A♦10♠10♥2♦
Marco Johnson: A♠8♠5♠3♣
Johnson made the nut low on the 2♥ turn, and the A♣ river improved him to two pair to scoop the pot and send Sternheimer to the rail.
