Brandt and Sternheimer Jam in Pot-Limit

Level 11
Philip Sternheimer
Philip Sternheimer

Pot-Limit Omaha

The action was caught on a 4A83 turn. Lawrence Brandt checked from the big blind to David Moskowitz under the gun. Moskowitz fired a pot-sized bet of 32,000, which Brandt reluctantly called after much debate.

Brandt then quickly moved in his remaining 45,000 or so on the 2 river. Moskowitz mucked his hand in an instant, and the pot was shipped to Brandt before the table was broken.

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

At another table, big blind Philip Sternheimer pushed his last 28,000 into a pot of 47,000 on the 6Q5 flop.

"I really want to fold," Marco Johnson said in the big blind as he weighed his options, but he ultimately deemed the price too good and called.

Marco Johnson: A853

Johnson made the nut low on the 2 turn, and the A river improved him to two pair to scoop the pot and send Sternheimer to the rail.
