Under the gun, Carol Fuchs had gone all in predraw, and was called by Dario Sammartino in the cutoff, Matt Glantz in the small blind, and Brad Owen in the big blind.
The quartet then each took two cards, after which it was checked. On the second draw, Glantz drew one card while the rest still needed two. Glantz bet, seeing both Owen and Sammartino call.
Glantz remained pat on the final draw, Owen and Sammartino still drew two cards, while Fuchs had improved to a one-draw. Glantz knuckled the table for a check, and Owen checked behind after some tanking. Sammartino also checked, and a showdown was requested.
Glantz tabled 8♣7♦6♦4♣2♠ for an eight-low, and Owen showed Q♥8♠4♥3♣2♦ for an eight-badugi. Fuchs was drawing live for both ends with 8♥6♥5♣3♦, needing the four of spades to scoop.
She peeled a two-sided card, but it was the 5♠ instead, eliminating her from the tournament.
