Julio Abreu limped in from under the gun, as did Maurice Hawkins on the button, and small blind Ali Shahni in the small blind, before John Holley checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came 8♥Q♣9♦ and after Shahni checked, Holley bet the pot for 1,250,000. Abreu took some time before making the call for his stack of 975,000 to put himself at risk. Both Hawkins and Shahni quickly folded to leave the players heads up.
