Daniel Negreanu Eliminated in 8th Place ($24,347)
Level 35
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Pot-Limit Omaha
Daniel Negreanu opened with a pot-sized raise to 1,750,000 in the hijack and Maurice Hawkins in the big blind three-bet big enough to put Negreanu all in, who had 2,900,000 behind. Negreanu made the call.
Daniel Negreanu: K♥Q♥9♣7♣
Maurice Hawkins: A♥A♣J♦2♦
Negreanu picked up a flush draw on the 4♥6♥4♦ flop and got there on the 10♥ turn.
However, Hawkins could still fill up on the river to win, and he did exactly that when the river fell the 4♠.
