Badziakouski Nearly Doubles Through Lichtenberger

Heads-up on a flop of 6♦J♦A♠ with a large pot already brewing, Andrew Lichtenberger bet 30,000 from the big blind and Mikita Badziakouski called.

Lichtenberger check-called a 100,000 bet from Badziakouski on the 4♥ turn and Lichtenberger checked a final time after the 9♣ completed the board.

Badziakouski slid all but 1,000 of his remaining stack into the middle for a bet of 187,000 — sending Lichtenberger deep into the tank.

Lichtenberger used up all of his time extensions as he contemplated his decision, but eventually tossed in a few chips to indicate a call.

Badziakouski tabled 6♠6♣ for a flopped set of sixes and Lichtenberger sent his hand into the muck.
