Omar Mehmood opened from middle position before Young Ko fired a three-bet from the cutoff. Mehmood came back with a four-bet, and Ko called to take the hand to the flop.

The dealer spread Q♣8♠K♦, and Mehmood continued with a bet that Ko called.

The action repeated itself on the 6♥ turn and again on the 7♦ river.

At the showdown, Mehmood tabled A♦A♣ for a pair of aces. Ko could only shake his head before sending his cards into the muck, leaving himself with just a short stack to work with.
