Maschke Rivers a Flush to Stay Alive

Level 17 : Limits 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Dennis Maschke opened from the middle position and picked up two callers in Somasekhar Sanampuri on the button and Dara Taherpour in the small blind.

The flop came 9102, and after Taherpour checked, Maschke continued with a bet. Sanampuri called before Taherpour put in a raise. The raise committed Maschke's remaining chips, and he was all in for 12,000. Sanampuri called as well, creating a side pot heading to the 8 turn.

Taherpour continued betting on both the turn and the 3 river, and Sanampuri called each time.

At showdown, Maschke tabled K6 for a rivered flush to secure the main pot. Taherpour revealed Q10 for top pair, which was enough to win the side pot after Sanampuri's hand was quickly sent into the muck from the dealer.
