Ngo kept the pressure on when the 7♠ hit the turn, and this time Sessler mucked his hand, awarding the pot to Ngo.
In the very next hand, action folded to Ngo on the button, who raised. Michael Lipner defended his big blind, and the two players went to the flop.
The dealer spread A♦5♦K♦, and Lipner check-raised Ngo’s continuation bet. Ngo called.
On the 9♣ turn, Lipner bet and Ngo raised. Lipner stuck around to see the 8♣ river, where he check-called another bet from Ngo.
Ngo tabled A♠8♥ for two pair, aces and eights, which was enough to scoop his second consecutive pot.
