Brandt Flops a Boat on Fehlig
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Paul Fehlig from middle position and Lawrence Brandt from the hijack both had 5,000 in front of them as they saw the K♥K♣7♥ flop. Brandt had bet for a small size before Fehlig check-raised to 10,000, and Brandt called.
On the 9♦ turn, Fehlig bet 25,000, Brandt jammed, and Fehlig put in the final 8,000.
Paul Fehlig: A♦K♠10♦4♦
Lawrence Brandt: A♠A♣7♦7♣
Brandt had flopped a full house against the trips of Fehlig, who still had outs to make a higher boat. However, the river was the 6♠ and he was eliminated.
