Costa Holds to Bust Hoenig

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Ryan Hoenig had opened under the gun before Walter Chambers three-bet to 15,000 from the cutoff. In the big blind, Christopher Costa repotted to 61,000. Hoenig flatted, and Chambers took quite some time before he elected to fold.

On the 885 flop, Costa led and Hoenig called all-in for his final 76,000 or so.

Ryan Hoenig: AJ92 All in
Christopher Costa: AAK10

Hoenig held the nut low draw with some backdoors, while Costa was ahead with the aces. Unfortunately for Hoenig, the board ran out 9K, and the aces held for Costa to eliminate Hoenig in a huge one.
