A total of 268 entrants came out yesterday to generate a prize pool of $2,427,300 inEvent #33: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, with only 105 making it out of the day with chips in a bag. Players will have the first couple levels of the day to register and join up in an attempt to conquer the latest championship event.

Leading the way is Christopher Carlson (462,500), with 2-time WSOP bracelet winner Marco Johnson (461,500) nipping at his heels. Others that have survived into the day include Dylan Weisman (365,000), Dylan Smith, (346,500), Jarod Minghini (333,500), Josh Arieh (313,000), Benny Glaser (228,500), Allen Kessler (219,500), and 7-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu (207,000). Players will all be attempting to repeat the feat that Philip Sternheimer (161,500) accomplished just one year ago.
Those who are expected to come out in full force today and capitalize on the late registering option of the tournament are Alex Livingston, Michael Wang, Justin Liberto, and WSOP Main Event champion Michael Mizrachi. All will be eligible to continue firing in the tournament until their three bullet maximum is reached.
Play will resume at 1:00 in the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. Level 11 will be the first level of play today, with blinds at 1,000/2,500, with a 2,500 big blind ante. At the conclusion of every hour-long level, there will be a 15-minute break and a 60-minute break will follow the conclusion of Level 16. After that play will continue until 10 full levels are played.
