On the K♦Q♦4♠ flop, Hughes check-potted against Pansier, and Pansier was all-in for his final 1,395,000, and Hughes covered by 20,000.

Hughes had a gutter with the nut flush draw and backdoor nut low, while Pansier had aces with a worse flush draw and same backdoor low.

Hughes got his final 20,000 in the next hand, and he was eliminated.
