Paalanen Busts Roberts
Level 18
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Christian Roberts limped from under the gun before Harris Klein made it 20,000 from early position. Akseli Paalanen made the call out of the big blind, but Roberts decided to then reraise to 85,000. Klein folded, but Paalanen made the call.
The 4♦K♥Q♣ flop led to a pot bet by Paalanen. Roberts called to put himself all-in and at risk.
Christian Roberts: A♦A♣7♠6♥
Akseli Paalanen: J♦10♦9♠8♣
The J♣ turn and 9♣ river spelled the end of the road for Roberts as Paalanen hit a straight.
