Hall Leaves Kaladjurdjevic With Chip and Chair
Level 8
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Picking up the action on the 8♣2♣2♥ flop, Galen Hall in middle position checked to cutoff Dejan Kaladjurdjevic, who added 45,000 to the pot of 131,000 with a bet. Hall called, and the 6♥ was revealed as the turn.
Kaladjurdjevic sized up to 130,000, and Hall put in another check-call. Hall checked a third time when the 4♦ river hit the felt, seeing his opponent bet roughly 250,000, leaving himself only 1,000 behind.
Hall instantly dropped a calling chip in the middle. Kaladjurdjevic sheepishly showed K♠J♥, playing just the pair on the board, leaving Hall to rake in the big pot with 9♠8♠ for two pair.
