Koon's Queens Double Him Up
Level 9
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Arriving on the 7♦9♥8♥5♦ turn with around 330,000 in the pot, Daniel Rezaei checked from middle position to Jason Koon in the cutoff. Koon bet 220,000, and Rezaei obliged with a call.
The 3♣ river saw Koon move in a bet of 420,000, leaving only a single 5,000 chip behind. Rezaei wasted little time in check-calling. Koon tabled Q♥Q♦ for an overpair, and Rezaei swiftly mucked his cards in defeat.
