"Big Huni" Busts Three in Quick Succession

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Christopher Hunichen
Christopher Hunichen

Arriving on the 25J5A river, Chris Hunichen checked from the big blind to Santhosh Suvarna in the hijack. Suvarna fired a bet of 145,000 into the pot of 280,000, only to be raised all-in by Hunichen.

Suvarna took some time to consider his options, but ultimately called off his stack of 420,000. Hunichen revealed 54 for trip fives, sending the recent $50k champion to the rail with his A8.

Two hands later, Andrew Lichtenberger open-shoved his 240,000 remaining stack from the cutoff. Hunichen called on the button before big blind Ramiro Salinas three-bet all in for 725,000. Hunichen asked for a count, then called.

Andrew Lichtenberger: A3 All in
Ramiro Salinas: AJ All in
Chris Hunichen: 66

Hunichen's pocket pair remained best on the 237K2 runout, eliminating two more players to increase his stack above the two-million mark.
