Alexandros Theologis min-raised from the cutoff, and both Christopher Nguyen in the cutoff and Martin Kabrhel in the big blind called.

With A♠8♦, Theologis was lucky enough to flop trips on 8♣7♠8♠, but he checked just like both of his opponents.

The turn card was the 6♣. Kabrhel checked, and Theologis decided to bet 300,000. Nguyen raised to 1,100,000 to make Kabrhel fold A♦4♦, but Theologis called.

The 9♣ landed on the river, and after Theologis checked, Nguyen checked back with 5♠5♦ for a runner-runner straight and scooped the pot.
