Daniel Negreanu raised from the hijack, then, as he turned to carve out another chunk of the succulent cake he had been feasting on for the past few hands, Jesse Lonis three-bet from the cutoff. Negreanu placed his cake back on his side table before putting in the call.
Negreanu checked the 8♠2♥10♠ flop and Lonis bet. Negreanu check-raised and Lonis called.
Negreanu bet when he saw the 4♥ turn and Lonis raised. Negreanu thought for around 30 seconds and even apologized to his tablemates for taking so long.
In the end, Negreanu continued with a call.
The K♠ river checked through and Negreanu tabled 10♦9♦ for a pair of tens. Lonis had that beat with A♣A♠, and the cake-less Negreanu watched the pot get pushed the other way.
