No less than five players saw the 8♠6♣2♣ flop in a limped pot. It checked to Dekel Balas on the button who bet, and he was called by Andrew Yeh in the big blind, Mihails Morozovs from under the gun, and Steven Wendroff in early position.
On the 5♦ turn, it checked to Balas who bet again, and this time only Wendroff called after a short tank.
Balas fired a final bet on the Q♠ river, and Wendroff grimaced as he flicked in the chips to call. Balas tabled 7♠7♥4♠3♦ for a straight seven and four-three low. Wendroff could not salvage half the pot, and Balas scooped.
