Kings for Cugonov
Level 16
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
The hand was picked up with around 230,000 chips in the pot and the board already to the river reading A♠7♠K♥7♦J♦.
The action was on Konstantin Cugunov, who moved all in with 223,000.
Rudy Cervantes thought long and hard before making the call.
Konstantin Cugunov: K♦K♠
Rudy Cervantes: A♣Q♠
Cervantes had flopped a pair of aces, but Cugunov had flopped a set of kings.
The win gave Cugunov a huge boost and left Cervantes with crumbs.
