Douglas Sends Miegel Into the Blender
Level 29
: Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
With K♥K♣, Champie Douglas made it 300,000 to go from early position and Jakob Miegel came along from the big blind holding Q♦J♥.
Both players checked the Q♥4♠K♠ flop before the 9♠ arrived on the turn. Miegel checked for a second time, and Douglas jammed, covering him.
Miegel had 965,000 in his stack and went into the tank, knowing a wrong decision would cost him his tournament life. After quite some time, he tossed his cards away, and Douglas won the pot.
