Two Rounds of Doubling Up for Cha Through Avila

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action was picked up with Pomjun Cha and Miguel Ore Avila engaged in an all-in showdown.

Pomjun Cha: AA844 All in
Miguel Ore Avila: AKQQ4

Cha had pocket aces which Avila's pocket queens couldn't beat. The board ran 5578K giving Cha a double up.

On the very next hand, Avila opened to 36,000 and David Jenkins in hijack called. Cha in the big blind shoved all-in for 166,000. Avila bet pot which covered what Jenkins had behind. Jenkins went into the tank and mulled over what he should do next.

Ultimately, he folded, leaving the two players to head to showdown once again.

Pomjun Cha: AKK94] All in
Miguel Ore Avila: AA653

It was Avila's turn to have pocket aces. But Cha was pushed ahead when he caught a full house on the K1010. The 48 runout didn't help Avila, doubling Cha up for a second time.

Jenkins was saying he had pocket jacks, and Cha, teasing, said he should have called so he could get properly paid.
