Claushuis Holds Strong Against Shankar

Ravi Shankar raised to 105,000 on the button. This led to a call from Bouwe Claushuis in the small blind and Birger Larsen in the big blind.

It checked to Shankar on the 8♦Q♦6♣ flop. Shankar continued for 150,000. Both Claushuis and Larsen called.

The 2♥ turn led to a pair of checks before Shankar bet 500,000. Claushuis called, but Larsen folded.

Claushuis checked the 5♥ river, which led to a bet of 300,000 from Shankar. Claushuis made the call.

"Good call. I missed everything," said Shankar.

Claushuis showed A♦Q♠10♥6♦5♠ for two pair to take down the pot.
