Mir Sits Back Down
Level 20
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Faisal Mir opened to 40,000 in the cutoff, and David Shaw asked for a look at his remaining stack before three-betting to 145,000 on the button. Action folded back around to Mir, who took some time before four-betting all in for a total of 220,000 and was called.
Faisal Mir: K♠J♣10♠8♠
David Shaw: K♣K♦Q♠4♣
Mir stood up from his chair and put his backpack on before hitting trips on the 6♥8♥8♦ flop. Shaw did not improve on the 3♣ turn or 7♥ river, and Mir took his backpack off to retake his seat upon doubling up.
