Both players turned over aces, with Tsoupras at risk in a massive pot. Nothing was decided on the 7♣5♦2♦ flop, as Scapula picked up a flush draw. Scapual then spiked the 4♣ river to make a set of fours, improving to a full house on the [5]s river to send Tsoupras to the rail.
Georgios Tsoupras limped on the button, and Lawrence Brandt raised to 320,000 in the small blind. Francois Scapula made the call in the big blind, and Tsoupras came along to the 9♦7♠3♥ flop.
All the players checked to the 10♥ turn, where Brandt checked again. Scapula announced pot, making it 1,040,000. Tsoupras quickly folded, while Brandt took some time before following with a fold.
Daniel Hachem raised to 210,000 in the hijack, and Thomas Skaggs made the call on the button. Both players checked the 6♦10♦7♥ flop, and Hachem checked again on the J♥ turn.
Skaggs fired a bet of 350,000, and Hachem called to see the 4♥ river. Hachem then led out for 675,000, and Skaggs went into the tank before announcing all in for 1,140,000.
Hachem confirmed the count before opting to let his hand go, and Skaggs raked in a big pot.
Vytautas Semaska opened to 170,000 from middle position but Francois Scapula in the hijack three-bet to 550,000. Semaska made the call.
The dealer fanned a flop of A♥7♠K♣ and Scapula potted to 1,250,000. Semaska went deep into the tank and eventually check-called.
Semaska checked the 8♠ turn. Scapula moved all-in and Semaska called with the 825,000 he had behind.

Zhang called, and the dealer completed the board with the 3♥ river. Zhang checked once more, and Thornton opted to check it back.
Zhang showed down K♣10♣7♣2♠ for trip kings, taking down the pot as Thornton mucked.
