Rusinko Flops the Jackpot to Send Shimada Packing

Level 31 : Blinds 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

Joseph Rusinko made it 400,000 to play from early position and action folded around to Takashi Shimada in late position, who three-bet all in for 2,580,000. Rusinko thought for a while and made the call to put Shimada at risk.

Takashi Shimada: AK All in
Joseph Rusinko: KQ

Shimada was streaks ahead and looking good for the double up. The poker gods had different ideas though when they served up the flop of A67 and gave Rusinko the nut flush. Shimada could still hang on with runner runner, but when the 2 peeled off on the turn he was drawing dead. The 5 came on the river to seal the deal and Shimada was sent to the rail.
