Esther Taylor raised to 5,500 in the cutoff and then folded when Marco Johnson three-bet to 21,000 in the small blind.
Brian Rast limped the small blind for Matthew Beinner to check in the big blind. Rast check-folded the 9♥3♣2♥ flop to a bet of 3,000.
Rast then made it 5,000 to go on the button. Beinner three-bet to 17,000 and Rast four-bet to 40,000 in order to win the pot.
After the hand, Eric Wasserson came over to inquire with Daniel Negreanu if the tournament has ever had a shot clock to which Negreanu replied "I don't think so, but it might come". One has to presume that the inquiry was for a side bet made on Wasserson's nearby table.
