Calvin Anderson opened to 6,000 under the gun before Paul Volpe three-bet to 20,000 in the cutoff. With the action back on Anderson, he four-bet to 47,000, and Volpe called, with both players starting the hand over 90 blinds deep.
On the 8♣5♣2♦ flop, Anderson led for 32,000 and Volpe called.
The turn was the 6♠ as Anderson fired again for 54,000, and Volpe called once more after a minute's tank.
On the 6♣ river, Anderson led for just 14,000. Volpe weighed his options before he tossed in calling chips.
Calvin Anderson had Q♠J♥, while Paul Volpe flipped over A♥K♦.
Volpe's ace-high was best to drag a huge pot off Anderson.
During the hand, Ben Yu took his seat at the same table after registering.
