"Bathroom Fish" Misses His Button

Level 7
Josh Arieh
Josh Arieh

Pot-Limit Omaha

Just before the cards were dealt, small blind Josh Arieh stood up and sprinted to the restroom.

"Leaving in the small blind is crazy. You risk missing your button. This guy's a bathroom fish," Chris Brewer then stated before he raised his button to 10,500.

David Williams called in the big blind, but he quickly check-folded when Brewer continued for 6,500.

Arieh was not back in time for the next hand, meaning Brad Owen was effectively on the button when open-raised to 9,000 in the cutoff. Aaron Kupin called in the big blind and check-called Owen's bet of 12,000 on the K32 flop.

The A turn was then checked through to the 4 river. Kupin checked a third time, but Owen put in a bet of 35,000. Kupin spent about a minute in the tank before mucking his cards to concede the pot.
