Taherpour and Lonis Chip Up

Level 13

2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Dara Taherpour raised from the small blind and called when Luke Schwartz made it three bets in the big blind. Each player drew one card on the draw, after which they checked and tossed one again.

Taherpour then bet, and Schwartz called. Taherpour stood pat on the final draw, with Schwartz still drawing one card. They checked it to showdown afterward, where Taherpour took the pot with 8x7x6x4x2x.

At another table, Jesse Lonis checked from the hijack after the first draw. Ryan Miller bet in the cutoff, and Lonis raised. Miller called to see his opponent stay pat, prompting him to draw one card.

After a bet by Lonis and a call by Miller, Lonis remained pat on the final draw. Miller still needed one card, and he checked back after to reach showdown.

Lonis showed 8x7x5x3x2x, taking down the pot as Miller mucked.
