Maxx Coleman raised under the gun, and Paul Volpe defended his big blind. Volpe check-raised a bet by Coleman on the 9♥4♣8♣ flop, then led out himself on the A♣ turn.
Coleman decided to raise this time, and Volpe called to the Q♣ river. Volpe checked it over, seeing Coleman toss in a quick bet. Volpe spent some time in the tank before mucking his cards, surrendering the pot.
The next hand, Josh Arieh raised in the cutoff and Volpe three-bet in the small blind. Volpe bet the 9♥Q♥6♣ flop and 4♥ turn, with Arieh calling to the 4♣ river.
Volpe then checked before calling a bet from Arieh. Arieh revealed 10♦9♦ for nines and fours, and Volpe frustratedly added his cards to the muck for the second time in two hands.
