Kristopher Tong raised to 180,000 from under the gun and was called only by Josh Arieh in the big blind. On the J♦5♣3♥ flop, Arieh check-called for 200,000 and did so again for 550,000 on the 3♦ turn.
Tong opted to check behind the Q♠ river with the words "super tight check," and Arieh replied, "then you win," as he exposed the 8♠5♦. Tong had that beat with the A♦J♠ to claim the pot.
Benny Glaser made it 180,000 to go from the cutoff next and found a single caller in Phil Ivey on the button. Glaser led the 8♥3♥2♣ flop for 225,000 and Ivey called. They checked the 5♣ turn and Glaser bet again on the K♠ river for 350,000. Ivey called and mucked when he was shown the Q♥8♦ by Glaser for a pair of eights.
