Philip Mighall raised to 20,000 from under the gun, and Leandro Alvarez called from one seat over. Action folded around to Lou Garza in the hijack, who raised to 85,000, and Mighall called. Alvarez moved all in for 113,000 total, and both Garza and Mighall called.

The flop rolled out 10♥8♠2♥, and Mighall checked over to Garza, who moved all in for 319,000 effective to put Mighall into the tank.

Before his first time extension had been hit, he called to bring the pot size to just under seven figures.

Both Mighall and Alvarez led against Garza, but that changed on the A♠ turn that gave Garza top pair and top kicker.

"Just in case," said Garza as he further improved on the river K♠ to aces-up, and both of his opponents took their leave from the tournament. "You can't win this tournament by playing good."
