O'Neill Drills the River to Send Menhardt Home

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Julian Menhardt made it 80,000 to play from under the gun and was looked up by Micheal O'Neill in the big blind.

The flop came JQ6 and O'Neill checked to Menhardt, who continued for 75,000. O'Neill check-raised to 150,000, which was met with a re-raise all in from Menhardt. O'Neill snap-called.

Julian Menhardt: KK All in
Micheal O'Neill: J8

Things were looking pretty hunky dory for Menhardt to get a double up, and the 5 turn changed nothing. However the poker Gods have a sick mind sometimes, and served up the 8 as the river to give O'Neill two pair and crack Menhardt's kings, sending him to the cage.

Small Pot for Cho

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Julian Eibel raised in the cutoff to 80,000, and Sam Ameen made the call in the small blind. Hyun Cho counted his remaining stack before sticking in a call from the big blind, and the dealer fanned out the 1025 flop.

Ameen checked to Cho, who slid out a bet of 105,000. Eibel let his hand go, and Ameen followed with a fold to see Cho claim the pot.

Kreuz Goes Runner-Runner to Double

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Brian Kreuz and Jakutis Povilas were heads-up on a flop of 5Q9. Kreuz moved all in for just under 600,000 and was snap-called by Povilas to be put at risk.

Brian Kreuz: Q10All in
Jakutis Povilas: 5x5x

Kreuz found himself crushed by Povilas's set, but the J8 runout improved Kreuz to an unlikely straight.

"Oh my God..." Kreuz said upon realizing his good fortune.

"Remember this hand when you have your bracelet interview," a tablemate chimed in.

Another check from Zobian on the 6 turn was met with a bet of 190,000 from Foster. The call was made, and Zobian tapped the table again on the Q river.

Deven Lane: A10All in

Ben Squelch raised to 80,000 from the cutoff and was looked up by Dan Borlan in the big blind.

The flop came 47Q and Borlan check-called Squelch's 60,000 continuation-bet for the 10 to come on the turn.

The action went check check and the dealer peeled off the 6 as the river.

Borlan fired out an overbet of 450,000, which sent Squelch into the tank for a short while before he released his hand to send the pot to Borlan with no showdown.

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Tsubasa Itani raised on the button to 80,000, finding a call from Jakutis Povilas in the big blind. Povilas checked the JA10 flop, and Itani continued for another 80,000.

Povilas called and checked once more on the 7 turn, where Itani sized up to 250,000. That was enough to produce a fold from Povilas, and Itani took it down.

Thomas Cazayous shoved for his last few hundred thousand from middle position and it was folded to Nick Palma, who announced he was also all in for more from the cutoff. Everyone else got out of the way and hands were revealed.

Thomas Cazayous: KQAll in
Nick Palma: JJ

It was a fair fight, but the 84433 runout came clean for Palma's jacks to eliminate Cazayous.
