2014 WSOP Main Event Champion Martin Jacobson in the Hunt for 2nd WSOP Final Table in a Week in Event #65: $1,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #65: $1,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), hosted at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
A massive 2617 players ponied up the $1,500 buy-in, generating a whopping $3,474,067 prize pool.
410 players bagged up from Day 1 and are now set to continue in Day 2 to battle it out on the felt and take their shot at the eye-watering first-place prize of $449,067, which of course comes along with the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
All players will be hunting down Mario Boos, who enters Day 2 with 728,000 chips and the overall lead. Shawn Puri is second with 675,000 chips and Leonardo Alves rounds out the podium starting Day 2 in third place with 566,000 chips.
All of the top three are chasing down their first WSOP gold bracelet with Boos and Alves both looking to close in on the half-million USD mark in lifetime earnings with a top-three finish. Puri will secure his highest recorded cash to date if he cracks the top 50, all data as per The Hendon Mob.

A plethora of notable players are still in the mix and looking to leverage their experience to push on in Day 2 and build a healthy stack for a run at the final table.
Martin Zamani (341,000) will be looking to put his third WSOP bracelet around his wrist and is sitting just outside the top ten. With six cashes and two fourth-places already this summer Zamani is surely one for the others to keep their eyes on.
2014 WSOP Main Event Champion Martin Jacobson (127,000) is looking to make his second final table in a week and go one place better than his runner-up spot in Event #56: $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em.
Thomas Cazayous (361,000), Jason Wheeler (289,000), Frederic Normand (284,000), Jared Jaffe (277,000), Eric Baldwin (268,000) and Brian Hastings (128,000), all come back for Day 2 with healthy stacks and will be hoping for deep runs in the event.
The top 393 players are set to get paid with a minimum cash prize of $3,020 being awarded.

Day 2 is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at Level 16, where the blinds will be 3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 big blind ante. Levels will be 60 minutes with a 15-minute break every two levels. There is a scheduled dinner break at the conclusion of Level 21 at approximately 7:30 p.m. local time.
The players will battle it out over ten levels of play for the day after which the remaining players will bag up the chips to return for Day 3 on June 24.
