Sick Run Out for Jacobson Leaves Wu in the Gutter
Martin Jacobson raised to 20,000 from middle position and action folded to Youngchae Youn in the cutoff who three-bet all in for 75,000. Eric Wu sat on the button then four-bet clicked it back to Jacobson and made it 130,000 to play.
Jacobson thought for a while and five-bet all in for about 300,000. Wu tossed in the call and had Jacobson slightly covered.
Youngchae Youn: A♦K♣
Martin Jacobson: A♥K♠
Eric Wu: Q♦Q♠
Just the flop that Wu wanted to see came of 10♣Q♥6♦ and he went even further into the lead. The 3♠ on the turn changed nothing but when the J♦ peeled off on the river and made Jacobson and Youn a straight Wu was left in shock at his luck and even more shocked by the less than a big blind stack he was left with.
In the meantime Youn and Jacobson chopped the main pot and Jacobson was shipped the side pot.
