Fernandes Forces Starostin off the Pot

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Ivan Starostin made it 30,000 to play from the hijack and was looked up by William Fernandes on the button.

The dealer peeled off the 1033 flop and Starostin continued for 25,000. Fernandes flat-called.

On the J turn Starostin loaded up a second bullet and fired it off for 60,000. Fernandes flat-called once more.

The J rolled off on the river and Starostin now checked it to Fernandes who tanked for a short while before he moved all in and had Starostin covered. Starostin didn't take long and mucked his cards to send the pot to Fernandes with no show down.
