Time for Howell to Go Home

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Cara Dierick limped under the gun. Natalja Howell in middle position raied to 1,200. When action folded to the small blind, Betty Morales threw in 6,000. The dealer informed her that the bet was just 1,200.

Morales confirmed that she knew but as the dealer waited and insisted on the amount of the bet, Morales looked down and seemingly was confused with the colors of the chips, putting different chips in until finally getting the right amount of 1,200.

Dierick called after to see the flop. The flop dropped 810Q. After action was checked to her, Howell fired 3,100. Both her opponents called.

On the 10 turn, Morales fired 6,000. Dierick got out of the way but Howell counted her chips then said, "Maybe it's time to go home," then jammed all-in for 7,300.

Natalja Howell: AQ All in
Betty Morales: K10

Howell flopped top pair but Morales caught trips on the turn. The dealer completed the board with a J. As Howell left, she told her seatmate that she was right, she should have said something about what had happened, then bid everyone good luck as Morales scooped the pot.
