Tan Takes Down a Massive Pot

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Lisa Tan opened to 80,000 from early position and Jessica Teusl in hijack called. Joining the two of them were Victoria Ailloud in cutoff and Aubrey Williams in the big blind.

The flop came 536. Williams checked the action to Tan who fired 175,000. Teusl and Ailloud had seen enough and folded. Williams took time to consider her options before raising to 395,000.

It was Tan's turn to tank, looking at what Williams had behind then called. On the 4 turn, Williams shot out 250,000 and Tan called to see the last card.

The escalating tension between the two players was palpable when the river 9 was peeled. Williams started counting her chips and set aside 325,000 to bet.

Tan looked at Williams before checking her cards. Staring at nothing in particular, she announced all-in covering what her opponent had behind. Williams looked at the ceiling in frustration, then mucked her hand.

As Tan scooped the pot, Williams questioned her about her hand to which Teusl answered that Tan couldn't possibly be bluffing all three of them.
