Ivey Soul Reads Nakanishi
Level 19
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Shota Nakanishi raised to 9,500 on the button and Phil Ivey defended from the big blind.
Ivey checked on the 9♠6♣4♠ flop and Nakanishi put out a continuation-bet of 10,000. Ivey called.
A 3♥ on the turn checked through and the 5♥ completed the board. Ivey checked again and Nakanishi bet 33,000. Ivey gave it little thought before putting in the call.
Nakanishi turned over a bluff with A♥8♦ and lost the pot to Ivey's Q♠4♦ or just a pair of fours.
