Sasha Liu opened to 4,500 from early position and called a three-bet of 16,500 from Benjamin Pockett, who was in the hijack.

Liu check-called a 10,000 bet from Pockett on the 7♦7♣3♥ flop and then both players checked on the 8♣ turn.

The 8♠ river double-paired the board and Liu quickly put a bet of 45,000 into the middle.

Pockett grimaced a little and thought his decision over before deciding to look up Liu, who turned over A♠Q♣J♦7♠ for trip sevens.

Pocket sent his cards into the muck and was left with just 10,000 following the hand.
