Valden Triples up; Hansen Heads Out

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Gus Hansen limped from under the gun and Robert Valden made it 24,000 to go from the small blind. Martin Zamani called in the big blind and Hansen called as well for an inflated three-way pot.

Valden moved all in for his last 56,000 on the KQ7 flop and Zamani raised, which was for enough to put Hansen all in for 86,000.

Hansen tanked a while, but eventually decided to go with his hand for a three-way showdown.

Robert Valden: KKQ5All in
Gus Hansen: AJJ10All in
Martin Zamani: A765

Valden held the best of it with his set of kings, and the 68 runout kept him best for the triple up. Zamani improved to two pair on the turn to claim the side pot and Hansen was eliminated.
