Lonis Chips Up Further

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

From under the gun, Jesse Lonis raised to 420,000, and Toby Joyce defended the big blind. The flop came Q44 and Joyce checked, after which Lonis asked for the size of the pot. He then bet 380,000 for around one third of the pot and Joyce folded.

The next limped battle of the blinds went to Lonis, too, before Martin Zamani raised the pot to 420,000 two hands in a row. In the second hand, Lonis repotted to 1,440,000 and forced out Zamani.

"The disrespect, must have been really bad kings," Lonis remarked.
