Tumboli Has the Better Pair

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Zarvan Tumboli
Zarvan Tumboli

Michael Mizrachi raised to 600,000 from under the gun and won the blinds, as table short stack Raj Vohra sigh-folded.

Zarvan Tumboli then limped in, and so did Vohra from the small blind, while Mizrachi checked in the big blind.

They checked the J106 flop to the 2 turn, on which Vohra checked. Mizrachi bet 800,000 and Tumboli called, while Vohra folded.

Both elected to check down the 9 river and Mizrachi declared "one pair" without showing his cards just yet. Tumboli rolled over his AA43 and that won the pot.

"Come on Grinder, you are not a man, you just play the nuts," Martin Zamani exclaimed.

"I had the ace of hearts, too," Mizrachi replied.
