Two Eliminations on the Stone Bubble

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

John Villanueva open-jammed on the button for 27,000 and Chongxian Yang called in the big blind with the covering stack.

John Villanueva: JJ All in
Chongxian Yang: 109

The flop came 9Q3, giving Yang a pair of nines. The turn landed the 3 and Villanueva was in great shape to double up, but the river fell the 9, giving Yang trip nines to send Villanueva packing.

At a nearby table, action picked up on the river with a sizable pot brewing between Luis Faria in the cutoff and Linglin Zeng in the small blind.

With over 400,000 already in the middle and the board reading 58934, Zeng checked and Faria moved all in for about 600,000. Zeng, who had slightly less, went into the tank before eventually making the call with AA.

She saw the bad news when Faria tabled 76 for the straight, with him scooping a massive pot in the process.

Since both hands occurred on the stone bubble, Villanueva and Zeng split a min-cash.
