Just after France scored a goal to take a 2-0 lead over Sweden, Paulius Vaitiekunas was staring at the screen during a hand and someone at the table asked, "Is France winning?"

"Winning the World Cup, winning the World Series (of Poker), winning food," Vaitiekunas said.

"How are they winning food?" Angelina Rich said.

"Uh, French cuisine," replied Vaitiekunas, who is from Lithuania.

Frenchman Bruno Lopes has the biggest stack at the table and is among the chip leaders in the event.
