Lichtenberger Gets Kyte Off a Chop

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 120,000 in the hijack with A10 and Jon Kyte three-bet to 1,200,000 with A10 in the small blind, leaving himself with just 40,000 behind. Lichtenberger made the call.

The flop of J6Q went check-check, as did the 6 turn. On the 3 river, Kyte checked again and Lichtenberger bet 40,000 to put Kyte all in, who went into the tank.

The clock was eventually called and Kyte opted to surrender his hand. Lichtenberger showed his cards as the sizable pot was pushed his way.
